Little by little, we have a few anglers picking away at the schoolie stripers with a few nice fish mixed in. Mostly in the back bays and close along shorelines with out flows. 4/29 Day or Night Island Current Does it Right...City Island, NY

Captain Scott called into report an excellent day of local flounder fishing. The boat had an excellent crowd today and lots of limits all around the boat. Both mussels and sandworms in combination worked the best. Both Captain Scott, Captain Pete, and Captain Lynn have been seeing bass regularly each night. Pool fish last night was 26 pounds.

4/28 Day & Night Report...Island Current Fleet Update

Captain Danny, Captain Scott, and Captain Pete report steady flounder action both on the inside of the back bays as well as working some of the waters on the outside. Even with the gloomy weather the boats been able to get out. Captain Scott and Captain Pete report steady action on the evening trips as we are seeing some bass upwards of the 20 pound mark. Incoming tide and fresh bunker bait has been the ticket.
