We have some bitter sweet news regarding the fleet.
ANGLER II was just sold and is on her way back to Key West.
ANGLER Xpress was also sold and is heading out east as a work boat. We will miss these boats as they have provided 10 years of quality service. But it is time for an upgrade.
Capt. Pete and I are heading down south tomorrow to look at a few possible additions to the fleet. I will keep you posted on our progress. In the meantime ANGLER's III and IV are getting all dolled up for the season and we should start fishing April 15 for the Striped Bass opener. I hope everyone is as anxious as we are to start fishing again. We are looking forward to a great 2017. ... See MoreSee Less

3/21 Springtime Cod aboard Island Current III…Snug Harbor, RICaptain Scott was happy to report another very successful springtime outing aboard the ISLAND CURRENT III. The sea conditions today were picture perfect. We were able to anchor and drift all day with total ease. Some notable catches for today’s excursion included Wayne Pinder from New Jersey tallying up the five plump cod fish, Lou and his buddy also from New Jersey had a combined catch a 15 keepers. Pool fish was weighed in at 13 pounds and most of the anglers on board today had anywhere from 3 to 5 codfish apiece.
